Globjournet - Global
Launched in May 1999, this global partnership project aims to form a global network of journalism schools and institutions in association with UNESCO with an objective of "seeking to expand and improve journalism and media practices worldwide through better professional education in this field and to do so by linking educational institutions, training centres, associations, networks and organisations that share the ideals of UNESCO in a network that will catalyze their cooperation and share information."
Communication Strategies
A network was established by electronic databases and interconnections linking major institutions. Included in the programme are training activities, curricular design and the provision of assistance for equipping needy training centres.
