Inter-Agency Information Sharing/Coordination Meeting on Avian Influenza (Feb 7 2008)Start DateFebruary 6 2008End DateFebruary 7 2008LocationBangkok, Thailand Event summaryOrganised by the International Federation of Red Cross and Red Crescent Societies - Southeast Asia Regional Delegation, this monthly meeting provides a forum for inter-agency information sharing/coordination regarding avian influenza activities. Participants include representatives of country and regional offices of international organisations, United Nations (UN) agencies and donor organisations based in Bangkok. In addition to monthly updates from each organisation on avian influenza activities, specific themes are discussed each month. The theme of the February meeting will be Emergency Preparedness - Examples in Thailand, from community based to national United Nations Avian Influenza Coordination. The meeting will be held from 2 to 5 pm at the Imperial Queen's Park Hotel, Sukhumvit Soi 22, Bangkok.
