Description

The African University College of Communications (AUCC) is a private tertiary institution dedicated mainly to the study of the media and communication. The ultimate goal of the African University College of Communication (AUCC) is to help improve and develop media and journalistic practices and standards in the country and on the continent. In fostering this goal, the university requires that all courses offered at the university assess student mastery of 11 core values and competencies that they believe every graduate of a journalism and mass communication program should possess. AUCC is affiliated to the University of Ghana, Legon.

Programmes

  1. Bachelors Degree Programme in Communication Studies

    - This 4-year specialized training is provided in the following five departmental areas:
    • Journalism (Print or Broadcast track)
    • Strategic Communications (Advertising or Public Relations track)
    • Visual and Digital Communications (Photojournalism, Digital Multimedia Production or Video Documentary Film Production)

    • General Media Studies
