Agencia de Noticias dos Direitos da Infancia (ANDI)
Agencia de Noticias dos Direitos da Infancia (ANDI) [News Agency for Children's Rights] - an organisation in Brazil seeking to improve the quality of public information related to issues that are decisive in promoting the rights of children and adolescents, so that they are included as a priority in the agenda for human and social development. ANDI works to foster and support a systematic and ethically-based dialogue between the media and the social actors engaged in policy-making towards children and adolescents through three core strategies: mobilisation, monitoring and capacity-building.

Fundación Nuevo Periodismo Iberoamericano (FNPI) [The Foundation for a New Latin American Journalism]

Fundación Nuevo Periodismo Iberoamericano (FNPI) [The Foundation for a New Latin American Journalism] - created in 1994 by the journalist and Colombian writer Gabriel Garcia Márquez, FNPI is an international centre for the professional development of journalists, providing a space for the exchange of experiences and ideas among colleagues in Latin America. FNPI offers an assembly of programmes for learning, debate and self-criticism on the techniques and the ethics of journalistic reporting, and supports projects to stimulate innovation in the improvement of the mass media, in consideration of the environmental, cultural, political, and social challenges that face the countries of Latin America.

Inter-American Development Bank (IDB)
Inter-American Development Bank (IDB) - dedicated to the design and to support of loan programmes and technical cooperation for social and economic development projects in Latin America and the Caribbean, the IDB is the oldest and largest regional development bank. It is the main source of multilateral financing for economic, social and institutional development projects as well as trade and regional integration programmes in Latin America and the Caribbean.

Media Institute for Southern Africa (MISA)
Media Institute for Southern Africa (MISA) - a non-governmental organisation with members in 11 of the Southern Africa Development Community (SADC) countries. Officially launched in September 1992, MISA focuses primarily on the need to promote free, independent and pluralistic media, seeking ways to promote and facilitate the free flow of information and co-operation between media workers, as a principal means of nurturing democracy and human rights in Africa.

Pan American Health Organization (PAHO) - an international public health agency with 100 years of experience in working to improve health and living standards of the countries of the Americas. It serves as the specialized organisation for health of the Inter-American System. It also serves as the Regional Office for the Americas of the World Health Organization and enjoys international recognition as part of the United Nations system.

Sesame Workshop
Sesame Workshop - Founded in 1968, Sesame Workshop is a nonprofit educational organisation working to make a meaningful difference in children's lives around the world. Today, the Workshop continues to innovate on behalf of children in 120 countries, using its proprietary research methodology to ensure its programmes and products are engaging and enriching. Sesame Workshop is behind award-winning programmes like Sesame Street, Dragon Tales, Sagwa, The Chinese Siamese Cat, and Pinky Dinky Doo and multimedia productions in South Africa, Egypt and Russia. As a nonprofit, Sesame Workshop puts the proceeds it receives from sales of Sesame Street, Dragon Tales, Sagwa, and Pinky products right back into its educational projects for children around the world.

Swiss Agency for Development and Cooperation (SDC) - the agency in Switzerland which carries out tasks assigned by the two houses of Parliament and the federal government with the aim of achieving sustainable development to meet the needs of future generations. SDC works to promote the desire of people to live in peace, freedom, security, justice and prosperity - always keeping in mind the interests of future generations. UNAIDS - the joint United Nations programme on HIV/AIDS
UNAIDS - the joint United Nations programme on HIV/AIDS - brings together the efforts and resources of ten UN system organisations to the global AIDS response. Cosponsors include UNHCR, UNICEF, WFP, UNDP, UNFPA, UNODC, ILO, UNESCO, WHO and the World Bank. Based in Geneva, the UNAIDS secretariat works on the ground in more than 75 countries worldwide.

UNDP - United Nations Development Programme - Democracy & Governance - UNDP is the United Nation's global development network, an organisation advocating for change and working to connect countries to knowledge, experience and resources to help people build a better life. USAID
USAID - the United States Agency for International Development is an independent federal government agency that receives overall foreign policy guidance from the US Secretary of State. Their Work supports long-term and equitable economic growth and advances US foreign policy objectives by supporting: economic growth, agriculture and trade; global health; and, democracy, conflict prevention and humanitarian assistance.
