The WHO handbook is very useful tool to be used in complex emergencies. It not only provided guidelines for Public Relation Officers but also useful for public administrators performing and monitoring emergency relief efforts.

Elecciones Consejo Mpal de Juventud Cali Colombia
Reciban un cordial saludo, escribo en nombre del Consejo Municipal de Juventud de Santiago de Cali, con la intención de comunicarles que el próximo viernes 27 de noviembre serán las elecciones para conformar el Consejo Municipal de Juventud
CMJ para el periodo 2009 - 2012.
Todo está preparado para que las juventudes caleñas, con esta jornada electoral den un ejemplo de participación y democracia. 83 puestos de votación distribuidos en las distintas comunas y corregimientos del municipio están listos para que los y las jóvenes puedan sufragar sin ningún inconveniente y elegir por voto popular a 15 de los 19 Consejeros Municipales de Juventud. El horario dispuesto por la Registraduría será de 8 de la mañana a 4 de la tarde.
Como parte del proceso de socialización y divulgación nos dimos a la tarea de promover e incentivar la participación de los y las jóvenes en más de 300 colegios, 10 universidades, 14 Casas de Juventud y en los 15 corregimientos del municipio. Resultado de ello son las cifras: 79.115 jóvenes inscrit@s para votar y 97 habilitad@s como candidat@s, tod@s con edades entre los 14 y 26 años.
Ha llegado el momento de conocer a los 19 jóvenes que conformarán el Consejo Municipal de Juventud 2009-2012. Este organismo actuará como consultor, asesor y vocero ante la sociedad civil y las entidades públicas o privadas acerca de las políticas y programas que involucran a l@s jóvenes de Santiago de Cali.
