Lydia Bologna works as the Technical Advisor in Communications with the CORE Group Polio Project. Lydia contributes to the documentation and dissemination of CORE Group Polio Project successes, best practices and lessons learned to promote the project’s strategies with the overall goal of polio eradication in Ethiopia, India, Nigeria, South Sudan, Kenya and Somalia. Prior to her role with CGPP, she managed an education program in Chicago and has worked with health programs at the American Academy of Pediatrics and the African Housing Fund in Nairobi. Lydia has a master's degree in public services management from DePaul University and a journalism degree from Michigan State University. She is interested in child survival and maternal health. Lydia lives in Chicago with her husband and four children.
