I am having more than 16 years of experience in designing, managing, & evaluating health & development projects. My roles in NGOs allowed me to gain great insight into the mindset & living pattern of various tribal groups. I am a trained and professional social worker and pursued another master degree course in Public Health from Mahidol University, Bangkok, Thailand during 2009-2010. At present, as a technical head of MANT, an organization of repute, I am managing the Mobile Health Care delivery project in 6 districts (supported by NHM) to provide primary health care services to the 2.5 Million people living in under-served areas of West Bengal; Tobacco Control Initiative in 5 Districts & Communication for Development initiatives aimed at providing avenues for airing tribal people’s voices and choices and thereby addressing the much-talked identity- crisis of them. Previously I was also In-charge of Tribal RCH Project to cover half-a-million of tribal people of hardest to reach areas of 6 Districts of West Bengal for 5 years. I am also involved in various public health research projects and many papers of mine published in reputed journals.
