Mariela Rodriguez, MA, is Specialist for Learning and Partnership Development with the Sexual and Reproductive Health and Rights team at CARE USA. Mariela supports knowledge, dissemination and learning for reproductive health, including family planning and maternal health. She is interested in the the role of the health system and health workforce in acheiving reproductive health outcomes. She supports the development of key, strategic partnerships to advance the learning and inform the reproductive health programming CARE does around the world.
Prior to working at CARE, Mariela was a research associate with Palladium (formerly Futures Group) in Washington, DC. Mariela has co-authored peer-reviewed journal articles on rights-based family planning, health policy and maternal health policy networks. She received her master’s degree in global health, gender, and human rights from American University’s School of International Service.
